Yuki - Kavi relationship goes way back

Co hosts of 16+ programme on Sirasa have revealed that their relationship goes way back in time.

The programme is presented by Warnakulasuriya Yuki Dave Cruz and Kavindya Devindi Adhikari.

Kavindya or Kavi is the daughter of popular singers Athula Adhikari and Samitha Mudunkotuwa while Yuki is the youngest son of Neil Warnakulasuriya who is the leader of the Sunflowers band.

Speaking at an interview with a newspaper, Yuki has said, "Our parents were friends even before we were born. They say that before Kavi was born, it was me and my older brother who were initially coddled by Samitha."

Female IP sexually abuses father of one

Investigations have commenced after the DIG of Western Province (North) received a complaint against a female IP of the Kelaniya police division for allegedly sexually abusing a father of one.

The wife of the man had lodged a complaint with the Peliyagoda police on Jan. 28 that the IP had abducted her husband after threatening him with death.

The IP had barged into their bedroom in the morning when she, her husband and their child were in bed.

A verbal dispute had occurred when the IP had asked the husband to come away with her. However, they had left for the Wattala beach in his own car, reports say.

After the husband returned home, the wife has lodged the complaint.

The IP is said to be a secretary of a SP as well as a referee of a main sporting event in Sri Lanka.

Investigations are underway under the instructions of DIG of Western Province (North).

Actress Gayesha Perera says that she acted in nude scenes of the film Flying Fish on behalf of mothers and sisters.

Speaking yesterday (28) at the Derana 'Waada Pitiya' programme, Gayesha said thus while responding to a question raised by the programme host Chathura.

Nehara - Menaka Wedding Photos

Popular actress Nehara Pieris and Actor Menaka Rajapaksha got married yesterday. The Wedding held at Kingsbury Hotel yesterday and it was limited to selected guests.

Menaka Rajapaksa to separate from his wife Virangani last year. Menaka and Virangi has a daughter from their marriage but after Menaka started relationship with Nehara he filed the devorce. Devorce is granted but All expenses of his daughter has to be paid by Menaka. Menaka also should allow his former wife Virangani to take full responsibility of looking after the daughter and total care of the daughter would be in the hands of Virangani without Menak’s interference.
