Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Prasanna Ranaweera, Deputy Chairman Chaminda Duminda and several other PS members challenged the Minister for a debate claiming that they could prove that he and his loyalists were involved in extortion, corruption and financial mismanagement in the Kelaniya and Kiribathgoda towns.
