Consultant Psychiatrist Dr. DVJ Harischandra passed away this morning at the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital when he was admitted following a heart attack.
According to a hospital spokesperson Dr. Harischandra who had been 74 years of age had passed away prior to his admission.
A father of 3 and a former alumnus of the Saint Aloysius College in Galle Dr. Harischandra became a synonymous personality subsequent to appearing besides late Venerable Gangodawila Soma Thero during televised religious programmes
