A painter has been sent in to remand custody by Tambuththegama magistrate after being arrested by the police for the accusation of severely sexually abusing an under aged boy who had come to assist him in drawing paintings in a temple.
The victim is a 13 year old bot and the suspect was arrested upon a complaint lodged by the boy's mother.
Police informed the court that the boy had been abused 4 times.
The suspect is said to be a 35 year old.
