Namal Rajapaksha turns 27.. Birthday Photos

Hambantota District UPFA Parliamentarian and Attorney-at-Law Namal Rajapaksa's 27th birthday falls last Tuesday (10).

Tharunyata Hetak organization has organized a Bodhi Pooja at Killinochcho Lumbini Vihara and a Hindu religious ceremony at the Killinochchi Hindu Kovil as well as many meritorious deeds to mark the occasion.

Namal  born on 10 April 1986 is the eldest son of Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa and First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa.

He contested the 2010 parliamentary election as one of the United People's Freedom Alliance's candidates in Hambantota District and was elected to Parliament.

As a young MP, Namal Rajapaksa played a key role in promoting development activities in the Northern Province with his organizing skills. He took steps to promote welfare services throughout the country for the the benefit of youth. He played a vital role in establishing the Blue Brigade that gathered people’s support for his party before the 2010 General Election.
