New CEO to Colombo stock exchange




Rajeeva Bandaranaike, a veteran stock exchange official who left the agency in 2011 has been appointed as chief executive of Sri Lanka's Colombo Stock Exchange.

Bandaranaike was at one time head of business development and clearing and settlements and had been with the agency from 1992 to 2011, when he left for the licensed finance companies sector.

He will take over the November 14, Colombo Stock Exchange's board of directors said.

Bandaranaike has Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), Australia and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from the Open University of Sri Lanka.
