Our Lanka: S.B.’s son's Night life

The higher education ministry has appointed a committee for the maintenance of standards and recognition of degrees at private universities.

Secretary of this committee is Narada Dissanayake, the son of minister S.B. Dissanayake, and its members also include the ministry secretary, said ministry sources.

Narada, who frequents night clubs and has car racing as a pastime, had been charged at the Colombo Fort magistrate’s court over a clash at a night club in 2004.
