Mila actress Anuksha Sonali arrested over prostitution

Mirihana Police this afternoon (July 08) arrested teledrama actress Anushka Sonali Sayakkara on a charge of engaging in prostitution.

She has appeared in the teledrama ‘Mila’ telecast over ITN.

In that teledrama, Anushka played the role of Pujani, the secretary of ‘Terrance’, played by Kingsley Lose.

She is 28 years old. The video below shows the manner she portrayed the supporting role in the Tele Drama.

Bail for Youth FM CEO over wife’s nude pics in internet

The chief executive officer of Youth FM Narendra Divulana Seelanatha has been released on two Rs. one million sureties.

He stands accused of having uploaded nude pictures of his wife into the internet.

Mt. Lavinia chief magistrate Nirosha Fernando has given the order for his release.
The case, filed by the wife of the accused, will be taken up again on July 12.

Paba ( Upeksha Swarnamali ) files for divorce

Actress-parliamentarian Upeksha Swarnamali (Paba) has filed for divorce from her husband Walawegamage Mahesh Chaminda.

In the case filed in the Colombo district court, she claims Chaminda earns a monthly income of around Rs. 400,000, and seeks a Rs. 20 million compensation.
Mrs. Swarnamali alleges that her husband, whom she had married in August 2009 after a four-year affair, has a very bad temper and has brutally assaulted her on the day after the marriage.
He continues to abuse her both mentally and physically and a surgery had to be performed for injuries suffered in a recent assault, making the marriage unpleasant, she charges.

Panadura Road Accident ( Recorded in a Camera )

A Car traveling on Panadura- Horana road, collided with a van , three wheeler and a car in Modarawila.

The accident has recorded in a Garment factory security camera. According sources the driver of the car is a lady.

Luckily no one has injured from the accident.

Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s Son’s Wedding Photos

The only child of Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Mrs Ioma Rajapaksa, Daminda Manoj Rajapaksa entered in to married life today on 30 June. Daminda Rajapaksa’s wedding took place at the Hilton Hotel, Colombo amidst a bevy of high profile guests, including his uncle President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Daminda married to Miss Seuwandhi Liyanarachchi, daughter of Mr and Mrs Chandra Liyanarachchi. In fact, President Mahinda Rajapaksa signed witness to the marriage for bridegroom whilst Sri Lankan First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa signed on behalf of the bride. Also present at the ceremony were Rajapaksa family members, relatives, several cabinet ministers, senior officers from Sri Lanka Armed Forces, government officials and friends.

Daminda Manoj Rajapaksa has born on 16th December, 1982 and studied at Traweek Middle School and then later Covina High School in United States of America. For his higher education Daminda has entered in to Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
