@bfc, Have you read and understood the thripitaka in order to say what the above people say are all true? I don't think so(well I don’t know to be honest ).Please remember the Buddha has said to compare what you hear(preached by others as the lord Buddhas' teachings) with his teachings(dhamma & vinaya).So you have to be careful before jumping in to any conclusion saying that this is the absolute truth/same as what the Buddha would say etc…
To SiriDhmma Thero, We respected you a lot. But we have to get away from your phylosophy. It is not what Lord Buddha preached. Pl, do not support to destroy our genuine philosophy. If you are genuine could you pl, explain what are these photographs. If you are not in a position to explain these things to the genuine Buddhist in Sri Lanka pl, get away with out acting as a true Buddhist. These photographs have given a shame to all Buddhists in the world.Pl, think honestly whether you follow five precepts at least. We don’t need perahera to Mithree Buddha. But be practical by observing principles of Gauthama Buddha. He has not told us to to have perahara in this way with a large gathering. Because of this prevailing dispute I wanted to the temple. However it is not like a temple. Main gate was closed. We had to go inside through a small gate. The temple is not natural and it has no natural qualities which are mandatory to a temple. No freedom to worship. It is not a good habit and you have no right to criticize Maha Sanga. If you see a wrong thing, you should have addressed them personally. And also you must look in to your self before criticizing others.
OK i have gone though every comments made by our people, its very simple every one will carry out the thing what they do or did with them to next soul it doesn't mind whether you are monk or normal person but if monk doing wrong things in his cheevaraya thats a very very big bad thing anyway keep in mind if some one doing wrong you will get bad return on that its true
Pitaduwe bamunath kotiyek. Nodokin. Corrupt and greedy men masquerading as monks should be hounded out from our society. Pitaduwe, if you want to rape a boy, get out of the robe and stop pretending that you are an enlightened dog. Dog remains a dog, irrespective of the name it gets.
These type of people should be publicly punished, and this is not the only monk doing this there is a lot, most of them get the contacts from face book.
We should keep one thing in mind as seen by some correctly here. How clergy Samanthabadda thero was being dominated in the “Damma society”? Was right from the beginning of thero’s sermonizing by convincing us very clear, balance and logical chanting what was in accordance with doctrine of cause and effect and complying with Bagavath Gowthama Budurajananvahanse’s Buddha chanting. No matter what this thero is doing at present for him. I believe that better to capture what we accepted in line with Buddha guidance by avoiding what we need not....We need to respect this thero whatsoever for discovering, elaborating, revealing some deeper ends of Damma specially in Deega Nikaye Agganna Suthraya, Saptha sooriyothgamana suthraya etc. that we had never been heard in that way previously.
