Walana Anti-Corruption unit has raided 11 Karaoke bars and clubs in Colombo, reports say.
During
the raid the liquor license has been inspected and the police has
collected the information that proves the identity of the visitors and
the staff.
The police have arrested a manager and a liquor stock of a club, which possessed an expired liquor license.
It has been reported that the said club is located in Kollupitiya.

Anti-Corruption Unit stated that the raid was conducted based on
information received on circulation of illegal drugs, prostitutes and
underworld gang members wondering around with possession of weapons at
the clubs and karaoke bars.
