Bandula and Anura asked to resign

Parents of students who sat for the GCE Advanced Level examination this year have called on Education Minister Bandula Gunawardena and Examinations Commissioner Anura Edirisinghe to resign over the issues faced in releasing the A/Level results.

A protest was organized outside the Education Ministry in Battaramulla by the Movement to Protect Schools.

The parents called for a review of A/Level results claiming they cannot accept the results that have been released.
