Cabraal owns Rs.500m worth house
It is revealed that former Governor of Central Bank Ajith Nivard Cabraal possesses a house valued at Rs.500 million. The house is at 6/31, School Lane, Nawala Rajagiriya.
The new house is near his residence and he has obtained it after becoming the Governor of the Central Bank say reports. The talk of senior officials of the bank is how he earned such a lot of money.
About Rs.4000 million was invested in bonds in Greece with the direct mediation of Mr. Cabraal, an act that proved to be a disaster and is highly questionable.
Also, a colossal financial fraud has been committed through the notorious ‘hedging agreement’ signed with the mediation of Mr. Cabraal between Ceylon Petroleum Corporation and several foreign banks.
It is being revealed that Mr. Cabraal would have received a large sum of money through such transactions.
