The woman who stands accused of having run a brothel at the Liberty Plaza shopping complex in Colombo has been remanded until January 18. Identified as Rosemary Felicia Perera, alias Jeena Madam, the sixth suspect in the case appeared before Colombo Fort magistrate Lanka Jayaratne yesterday (Jan. 04).
Making submissions, the anti-vice squad of Walana told the court that they were investigating the mobile phone of the main suspect.
They said they do not have conclusive evidence regarding the ownership of the brothel that was raided on December 02.
