Actress Anarkali Akarsha in political stage.
Anarkali Akarsha is one of the most outstanding prominent actresses in
Sri Lankan cinema history. Anarkali Akarsha was born in 11th of July
1987 in Colombo and she enters in to Sri Lankan entertainment sector by
performing as a child artis in "Iti Pahan" teledrama which was directed
by Renuka Balasooriya. She did her debut movie called "Pissu Tribal" at
her age of 15. Anarkali Akarsha won Miss Sri Lanka title in 2004 and
represents Miss World beauty pageant competition in 2004. She is very
talented courageous beauty in Sri Lanka and Anarkali Akarsha used her
ultimate popularity to enter in to Sri Lankan political arena. Anarkali
elected for the Southern Provincial council as councilor by representing
Sri Lankan Freedom Party and she is the youngest female councilor to
the date in Sri Lankan political history.
