New place to keep bridesmaids mobile phones

The wedding of actress Lochana Imashi and film producer Lasantha Nawaratne took place at Hotel Galadari on May 07.

There were four bridesmaids, all actresses, who found it difficult to hold onto the bouquet with their mobile phones coming in the way.

However, Dinakshi Priyasad and Nipunika Madhushani found a place to keep their mobile phones.

Actress Dinakshi summoned to CID ??

 

Actress Dinakshi Priyasad, eldest daughter of producer and director Dinesh Priyasad has been summoned to the Criminal Investigation Division today (March 18), reports say.

She has been reportedly summoned over a case of financial fraud.

She is summoned over not providing certain funds that was to be given to film co produced by a film director named Clive Martinez and his wife. She is also summoned over not paying a certain company named 'Dilshan Enterprises' in Borelesgamuwa after tasking them of making and selling DVD copies of the film.

Dinakshi has been summoned after Clive's wife has lodged a complaint on this regard.

According to reports, it had earlier been stated that a probe would be conducted if the DVD copies of the film in question would be in the market for sale when the complaint was lodged with the CID.

Subsequently, DVD copies of the film have been found in Moratuwa and in Pettah.

In addition to Dinakshi, the CID has also summoned Ashok Amirith Ranasinghe - the son of Raj Ranasinghe.

As Dinesh Priyasad and Raj Ranasinghe are yet to pay off the loans obtained by the National Film Corporation, the production pacts with regard to the film in question have been signed by Clive, Ashok and Dinakshi, reports add.

Sheshadri Priyasad's Wedding will be soon

Sheshadri Priyasad, the second daughter of film director and producer Dinesh Priyasad, is to get married on December 26.

Her fiance is Sampath De Silva. He is the son of Teledrama director and a top official of the president’s media unit Ranjan De Silva. Ceromony taking place at Gangarama Vihara, reports say.

The groom is employed at a diplomatic mission.

A wedding ceremony will happen on January 05 at Hotel Kingsbury.

Sheshadri’s marriage will lose Dinakshi, the eldest sister, her closest friend at home.

Both sleep in the same room.

The youngest of the actress sisters is Shanudri.
