The cobra girl, Nirosha Wimalaratne alias Dilani, has been admitted to hospital following a knife attack.
She had been in the limelight recently for
having reared a cobra as a pet and going to court to claim it after both
were arrested at a night club in Kollupitiya.
Following the attack she had been dumped at Wellampitiya last night (Jan. 22), police spokesman SSP Prishantha Jayakody said.
Her condition is said to be not serious.
According to a statement given by her to police, she had gone to the home of a Arab national at Wellampitiya a few days ago.
