A young woman who had tried to commit suicide by eating poisonous Kaneru seeds, has been admitted to Hambantota hospital.
It
is said that that the woman has done this as she had been upset about
her naked pictures having being uploaded to the internet.
Police have arrested 2 culprits who are suspected to be behind this heinous act.
And
from the information received from the interrogations, police have also
been able to raid 2 fake registrar offices in Middeniya and have taken
many computer equipment under police custody.
They have issued many fake police records, educational certificates and medical certificates from these "offices".
It
is said that the suspects had obtained some normal pictures of the
young woman from her brother's mobile phone, and have mutilated them and
uploaded them to the internet.
