Meter taxis increase hiring charges
The Association of Sri Lanka Meter Taxi Services says that their hiring charges would be increased following the recent fuel price hike.
Thereby, the current charge of Rs.30 per kilometre, would be increased to Rs.32 per kilometre from midnight today.
This was revealed at a media briefing held by the association today.
Its Secretary, R.P. Lal Kalinga added that the minimum charge of Rs. 50 and the waiting charge would not be increased.
