President meets Sonu Nigam
Popular Indian singer Sonu Nigam who is in Sri Lanka for a concert, called on President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday.
Nigam's family members were also present at the meeting.
Sonu Nigam, an artist who has won over fans around the world arrived in Sri Lanka on February17 to perform at his maiden concert in the country.
Sonu Nigam, born on July 30, 1973 in India, is an Indian play back singer.
He is the voice behind more than 1400 Indian film songs that have captured the hearts of many.
Some of these include Suraj Hua Maddham from the movie Kabi Kushi Kabhi Gham ,Kal Ho Na Ho , Kabi Alvinda Nah Kehna , Piyu Bole from Parineeta and All izz well from the film 3 Idiots.
